I love Taho! (Soya Cultured milk)

I can still clearly remember my childhood days wherein we would always wait for our beloved Taho vendor to show up in front of our gate shouting on his monotone speech "Tahoooo! Tahoooo! Bili na kayo ng Tahoooo...

Every morning, me, my sister and my two brothers would patiently wait for him with our big pitcher (mind you, not your ordinary drinking glass) in tow. I would always request him to add brown sugar syrup on our taho which manong would gladly give in. My perfect taho would only include the brown sugar syruy and the soya. I would always tell manong to never put some sago on my taho..

Until now, I still enjoyed Taho especially those being sold in the streets. It's not easy to sell taho in the streets. I would often pity those taho vendors wherein they would carry the two big canister in their backs using a pole tied at the end of it.

There's one taho vendor, specifically in Sunday market (now in Sunday Market at Lung Center of the Philippines) that I would always patiently wait.
