Have you heard the recent buzz about the Upper East Restaurant in Makati wherein they are trying to be elite? After I read about their marketing campaign on their website I just cant help but to shake my head off. I just thought that maybe this is just their marketing srategy so that people would be curious and head their way to this fancy restaurant. Let's just see and wait how people would react on this one. I can still clearly remember my childhood days wherein we would always wait for our beloved Taho vendor to show up in front of our gate shouting on his monotone speech "Tahoooo! Tahoooo! Bili na kayo ng Tahoooo... Every morning, me, my sister and my two brothers would patiently wait for him with our big pitcher (mind you, not your ordinary drinking glass) in tow. I would always request him to add brown sugar syrup on our taho which manong would gladly give in. My perfect taho would only include the brown sugar syruy and the soya.
